Azul Tequila Mexican Grill in Knoxville

5 out of 5 because they've been one of my favorite lunch spots for many years. Service, salsa, el sazon, all superb. And so much food for a reasonable price, you might have leftovers.

First time here. Older building. Their Salsa was awesome! Seemed freshly made. Tamale was the best I've had! Meal was good. Food and service better than many other Mexican restaurants in the area.

Typical Mexican fare. The food was good. Service was a little lacking, but it seemed like it was only the one person working. It looks a little sketchy from the outside, but was worth the visit.

Food was great. Had a margarita and chicken tacos. Wait staff was friendly but at times inattentive. Overall decent experience. Good tacos. Great margarita.

First time to this quaint little place. Huge menu and the food I had was great. Loved the salsa bar with the different types of salsa. Tried them all and they were all good. I especially liked the habanero salsa. Will come back next time I am back this way.

This restaurant had a very casual atmosphere. The food was ok for the price point. The staff was attentive and overall this restaurant is a good value.

On our move south we were pumped to find yummy looking mexican food. The food was tasty but the place was kinda dingy. We all had stomach aches that night and the next day. Put your iron gut on before eating here. But it does taste good.

Great margaritas, we are regulars and most of the wait staff know us. Nice to be recognized and made to feel welcome. Not upscale but good food at a reasonable price. I see a couple of recommendations indicating poor service. We have never experienced this. My question would be did you bring it to managements attention or suffer in silence? We have two favorite Mexican restaurants and this is one of them. Lots of food at a reasonable price.

I've been to several Mexican establishments over the years. Some good & some bad. My youngest son loves tacos and this is his favorite place. The taco shells stay hard and do not turn soft and soggy like some other places do. There beef is seasoned perfect with no extra grease that keeps it from turning your food into a oily mess

Authentic Mexican food is hard to find in Knoxville, I would know, I'm from Arizona. I can recommend Azul Tequila, I was very happy with my lunch here.

My boyfriend loves their Margareta's. The Hawaiian fajitas were excellent. I really enjoyed the Chimichanga special, even though they gave me chicken instead of beef. Great atmosphere and they practiced COVID protection.

The food was not bad & the prices ok. However the service was awful the server never refilled my drink & I had 2 keep asking other servers 4 stuff cause my server was Mia. I want to back.

Azul Tequila Mexican Grill and bar has the best Authentic Mexican cuisine and drive thru services. And their chicken fajita and footlong burritos are beyond amazing, cooked with fresh ingredients

I have loved this restaurant since I first started going there when it opened. There's almost always great service. The menu has a little bit of everything in regards to Hispanic taste. They have a decent selection of beer choices with some on tap. If you like chorizo you should definitely try the Pollo Coyoacan. The dish consists of chorizo, chicken, cheese, rice, beans, tortillas, as well as a salad topping on the side with lettuce pico de gallo sour cream, and guacamole.

It was honestly amazing. He food was great, the employees were nice and patient. I give that 5 stars.

Shortly after letting the staff know that my order was wrong, I walk out to discover that my car had been keyed. When I asked them if they had cameras, the staff would ignore me.I then called later to request information, but they hung up on me.I don’t advise parking in their parking lot...

This is one of my favorite Mexican restraints. Generous portions and great prices, especially for lunch

They had me carry the menus and silverware to the table. The salsa tasted like it had soap in it. They messed up the order and we barely saw our waiter the whole time. The only reason we came back this time is because they have a patio. We won't be coming back again. A waist of money!

Love this! It's our go to Mexican restaurant. The booths are roomy and the service is always amazing. The food is really authentic and delicious. Reminds me of a place I use to go to in Yuma, Az!!!

It was great food and large portions. The Margaritas were great as well. Service was very good and quick. Our Waiter was very nice and spoke English very well. It was a very pleasurable supper. Me and me Da enjoyed it very much.
